Alliance Française de Brisbane is delighted to partner with SAE University College Brisbane to bring you a monthly French cineclub series!
This initiative celebrates French cinema, offering everyone—students, film enthusiasts, friends, family, and the broader community—a
chance to explore French culture through film in an educational and engaging setting.
Join us for another Alliance Française Cineclub at SAE for another classic French film:
Jouer avec le Feu
The Quiet Son
Directors: Delphine Coulin, Muriel Coulin
Pierre is raising his two sons alone. Louis, the younger, excels in his studies and moves easily through life. Fus, the elder, begins to
lose his way. Fascinated by violence and power struggles, he becomes involved with far-right groups whose beliefs stand in stark contrast to
his father’s values. Pierre watches helplessly as these new associations gain an increasingly strong hold over his son. Gradually, love
gives way to misunderstanding.
